Highbridge closed in Ormond By The Sea, Florida

The bridge over the Halifax River in Ormond By The Sea, Florida closed June 7, 2009 for repairs. Parts have been ordered to complete the necessary repairs. The automatic open function of the bridge became inoperable following a lightning strike and was manually moved to the open position to allow river traffic to pass.
