Included in that mailing are 2 charts that depict the real estate bubble bursting. The first chart shows the number of sales in Volusia County, Florida, from 2000 to 2009. The second chart shows the rise and fall of single family residence values in Volusia County, Florida from 1996 to 2009. Current property values are back to the 2002-2003 range. Values declined 25% from January 1, 2008 to January 1, 2009 in Volusia County.
