Can you hear me now?

No, this is not an ad for a phone company, just a story about how condo living can present some unique challenges.  We live in a condo along the second fairway of the north course at Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club, a gated golf community in Ormond Beach, Florida.

The units are spacious and have a large wrap around screened porch.

Our neighbor upstairs installed wireless speakers on his outside porch so they could sit out and listen to music.  As it turned out they were listening to more than music! 

When the upstairs neighbors had their speakers on all of our phone calls on our cordless phone were being broadcast to the neighborhood.  Golfers could probably hear us as they hit the ball off the tee.  Turns out our cordless phone signal was being received by the speakers upstairs!  We need to do some testing to see if we can switch channels on the cordless to solve the problem.
