-The Salty Mermaid is open at 1546 Ocean Shore Blvd featuring art from many local artists.
-Origins has a new owner and is now Seadrift again at 1474 Ocean Shore Blvd.
-Fraze’s Scratch Cooking is no longer open at the Sunoco station.


LOCAL NOTES
-Sushi 99 is now open in Granada Plaza.
-Lucky’s Market is open in the old Food Lion Building at 101 E Granada.
-American Airlines Now has a direct flight from Daytona Beach to La Guardia.
-Sam’s Club is now open at 1460 Cornerstone Dr in Daytona Beach, just off LPGA and I 95.  The old store on Beville Rd. has closed.
-Starbucks drive thru is now open at 125 E Granada.
-Gold’s Gym is now open at One Daytona.
-The DAYTONA, a Marriott autograph collection hotel is open at One Daytona.

There are 79 homes for sale in Ormond By The Sea Florida through the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors®  Multiple Listing Service (MLS) as of May 31, 2017, 14 less than the end of last month. An additional 27 homes are under contract awaiting closing and lenders are involved in 5 of these either as a short sale or foreclosure. Lenders are involved in 0 of the 79 homes for sale . Asking prices for Ormond By The Sea homes currently for sale range from $149,900 to $2,390,000.

The inventory of Ormond By The Sea Florida homes for sale has stabilized, which is a good indicator that the market is back to a being more balanced between buyers and sellers. There are investors waiting for the lower priced homes to come available and if homes come on the market at a reasonable price they are being sold quickly. At the beginning of last year there were 85 Ormond By The Sea Florida homes for sale so the inventory has decreased since then and is remaining low.
