Homes For Sale~ Ormond By The Sea, Florida, as of April 30th, 2020

There are 82 homes for sale in Ormond By The Sea, Florida through the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) as of April 30, 2020, 1 more than at the end of last month. An additional 16 homes are under contract awaiting closing, two of which involves a lender, either as a short sale or foreclosure. Asking prices for Ormond By The Sea homes currently for sale range from $168,000 to $2,590,000.

The inventory of Ormond By The Sea, Florida homes for sale has been slowly increasing over the past couple of months. There are investors waiting for the lower priced homes to come available and if homes come on the market at a reasonable price they are being sold quickly. At the beginning of June 2019,  there were 75 Ormond By The Sea, Florida homes for sale.

-Fraze’s Scratch Cooking is no longer open at the Sunoco station.


LOCAL NOTES
-Sushi 99 is now open in Granada Plaza.
-Lucky’s Market is open in the old Food Lion Building at 101 E Granada.
-American Airlines Now has a direct flight from Daytona Beach to La Guardia.
-Sam’s Club is now open at 1460 Cornerstone Dr in Daytona Beach, just off LPGA and I 95.  The old store on Beville Rd. has closed.
-Starbucks drive thru is now open at 125 E Granada.
-Gold’s Gym is now open at One Daytona.
-The DAYTONA, a Marriott autograph collection hotel is open at One Daytona.

- Seaside Tavern is now open at 1350 Ocean Shore blvd.
- Flapjack Johnny’s is now open at 330 S Atlantic, the old Burger King building, serving breakfast and lunch.

 
LOCAL NOTES
- Argosy Park is open at 1255 Ocean Shore Blvd. with 42 off beach parking spaces where Argosy Motel once was.
- Sunwing Airlines has seasonal flights Toronto to/from Daytona Beach airport.
- The Florida Hospital Oceanside building on A1A has been demolished.
- Miami Grill and bar is now open at One Daytona.
- Dave and Busters is now open at Tomoka Town Square.
- The Publix in the Trails Shopping Center on Nova Rd. will close by the end of the year and will be rebuilt and expanded to include the former CVS building next to it.  They expect to reopen in about a year.

This table shows the condos sold in Ormond By The Sea, Florida for the third 3 months of the year through the Daytona Beach Area Realtors@ Multiple Listing Service (MLS).  The volume of sales has been steady for a few years and values are increasing . Both of those are good indicators for the market. The increase in days on the market may be a product of the lower inventories and market activity since condos that have been on the market longer are now selling.
