 Through the Daytona Beach Area Realtors® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) there were 25 Ormond By The Sea, Florida homes sold in December, 2010.  Eight of the sales had bank involvement, either a short sale or foreclosure. Additionally, there are 33 homes under contract waiting closing and 14 of those have lender involvement. The highest priced home sold was a 4 bedroom on John Anderson  Drive for $870,000 and the lowest priced was a 2-bedroom 1 bath on Brooks Drive for $49,900.

The high  inventory of 95 Ormond By The Sea condos for sale continues to indicate a buyers market and is higher than the 88 condos for sale at the beginning of 2010.

We began the year with 88 condos for sale in Ormond By the Sea, Florida and as of December 31, 2010 we have 95 for sale through the Daytona Beach Area Multiple Listing Service (MLS).  There are 59 priced $200,000 or lower and 8 of those are under $100,000. Additionally, there are 5 condos under contract pending closing of which 2 involve the lender.  There are17 condos for sale with lender involvement, either short sales or foreclosures. 

Last year at this time there were over 100 condos for sale in Ormond By the Sea, Florida. 
The inventory has been reduced significantly since there were 130 for sale in November 2007.  Many owners have turned to rentals or have decided to wait until the market improves to put their condo back on the market.
