Through the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) there were 17 Ormond By The Sea, Florida homes sold in August, 2014.  One of the sales had lender involvement, either a short sale or foreclosure. Additionally, there are 8 homes under contract waiting closing and 2 of those have lender involvement. The highest priced home sold was a 3 bedroom 3 bath on Atlantic Ave.  for $540,000 and the lowest priced was a 2 bedroom 2 bath on John Anderson Dr. for $94,349.

The average days on the market so far this year is lower than any year since 2008 and the average sales price is up. Both of those are good indicators for the market. The average price per square foot is stable and is the highest since 2008 and the average sold home size has decreased allowing for a more stable market.
