Florida to license home inspectors

Gov. Crist signed a new law to license home inspectors, mold assessors and remediators. Not effective until 2010, the bill requires continuing education of the new licensees. Home inspectors, for example, will be required to take 14 hours of continuing education every two years and 120 hours of pre-license education.
