BUSINESS BRIEFS
- Lucky’s Market will be opening soon on Granada Blvd. in the former Food Lion store.
- The Daytona Zipline Aerial Adventure has reopened at Tuscawilla Park.
- Canadian Airline Sunwing will begin service to Toronto from Daytona Beach in January.
- Zaxby’s has opened at 1287 W Granada.

Both of those are good indicators for the market. The increase in days on the market may be a product of the lower inventories and market activity since condos that have been on the market longer are now selling.

There are 107 homes for sale in Ormond By The Sea, Florida through the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors®  Multiple Listing Service (MLS) as of October 31, 2018, 6 more than at the end of last month. An additional 27 homes are under contract awaiting closing. Asking prices for Ormond By The Sea homes currently for sale range from $174,000 to $2,900,000.

The inventory of Ormond By The Sea, Florida homes for sale has increased the past couple of months.  There are investors waiting for the lower priced homes to come available and if homes come on the market at a reasonable price they are being sold quickly. There is ample guest parking above the garage.  Seascape Condo has an amenities room that is used for condo association meetings and functions.  Mailboxes are in the lobby and there is access to the pool and the beach from the lobby also.

bar and a large balcony with access from the master bedroom and the living room.

The Gemini Condominium is a 12 story, direct oceanfront condominium across the street from the Ormond Mall in Ormond By The Sea Florida.  Built in 1984, the Gemini condo is 12 stories high and consists of 24 units, some of which are 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and some that are 3 bedrooms with 3 baths.  There are 3 banks of elevators with 2 elevators serving only 2 units.

The Gemini Condominium units are spacious, with the 3 bedroom units at 1853 square feet and the 2 bedroom units 1699 square feet.  Laundry facilities are within each unit and there is a small storage space assigned to each unit as is an underground parking space.  Many of the unit interiors have been updated and many have added storm shutters. The building itself has undergone many upgrades over the years and looks terrific.  The corner units are all 3 bedrooms and include a wrap around balcony.

The Gemini Condominium amenities include a beautiful ocean front pool, sauna, library, exercise room, secure entry and secure underground reserved parking. Minimum rental is yearly.  Pets are allowed up to 20 pounds. This well maintained condo has an on-site manager to assist with building and owner issues. Condo fees include water, sewer, basic cable, window washing, trash pick-up  and pest control.
