Ormond By The Sea Florida Homes sold 2012


Through the Daytona Beach Area Realtors® Association Multiple Listing Service (MLS) there were 184 Ormond By The Sea, Florida homes sold in 2012.  Lenders were involved in 42 of the sales, either a short sale or foreclosure. 
The highest priced home sold was a 4 bedroom on John Anderson Dr for $957,500 and the lowest priced was a 2 bedroom 2 bath on Holland Dr.   for $45,100.  

The number of Ormond By The Sea Florida homes sold in 2012 was slightly higher than the 183 sold in 2010. In 2005 there were 277 sales.  Lenders were involved in sales in all price ranges with the highest percentage of lender involvement being in the under $100,000 range.

If this pace of sales continues we are at 6 months of inventory which is a balanced market and we should be looking forward to the potential for values increasing or at least we seem to have hit the point where values are no longer in decline.

The average sold price, as well as price per square foot have increased and the days on the market average is much lower than recent years.

 The average sales price is up. This is a  good indicators for the market. the average sold home size has increased.
