Lenders involved in 9 of the 16 sales of Ormond By The Sea, Florida homes through the Daytona Beach Area Multiple Listing Service during April, 2010.  An additional 50 homes are under contract awaiting closing and 24 of those are flagged as short sales or bank owned.  The number of sales compares favorably to the past 3 years where between 10 & 15 homes have sold each April since 2007.  The lowest price paid was a 2-bedroom on Essex Dr. for $74,900 and the highest was a 4-bedroom on John Anderson Dr. for $485,000.  Only 5 sales were above $125,000 and 8 were $100,000 or less.  The average sold price was $141,606.
