We don't go out to eat much but when we have visitors............ anyway on Thursday, Sept 16, 2010 when 2 of my wife's sisters were in town with their husbands we went to Betty's A1A Cafe in Ormond By The Sea Florida.  The waitress volunteered to snap a photo of the group. 

Everyone had something different and we were all very pleased with the service and the food.  An assortment of entrees was ordered and enjoyed including fried haddock, chicken tenders, seafood platter and chopped sirloin platter.  I would recomend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Hobby Lobby comes to Daytona Beach, Florida

Hobby Lobby has opened a new 50,000 Sq. Ft. store in Daytona Beach, Florida at
2455 West International Speedway Blvd. The building was previously Ross Dress For Less.
Hobby Lobby, an arts and crafts retailer, will be competing with Jo-Ann Fabric & Crafts and Michaels, both of which have stores in the area. Hobby Lobby was founded in 1972 in Oklahoma City.

The new Hobby Lobby Store has lots of seasonal items for decorating as well as items for parties, hobbies, scrapbooking, fabrics, flowers, baskets and more. Hobby Lobby is open daily 9a.m. to 8p.m. except Sunday.

Scheduled for Friday night, Saturday and Sunday, October 8, 9,and 10, 2010, the Annual Daytona Beach Blues Festival will be held at Jackie Robinson Ballpark, 105 E. Orange Ave.,Daytona Beach, FL in downtown Daytona Beach, home of the Daytona Cubs.  Over a dozen musicians will be performing.  Music starts at 6:00 p.m. Friday night October 8, 2010 and at Noon on Saturday and Sunday.
