Plantation Bay Golf and Country Club in Ormond Beach Florida Homes sold in August 2012

Through the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) there were 16 Plantation Bay Golf and Country Club home sold in August, 2012.  None of the sales had lender involvement as either a short sale or foreclosure.  All of the sales were in the price ranges, between $160,000 and $292,464.  An additional 14 Plantation Bay homes are under contract awaiting closing and 3 of those involve a lender either a short sale or foreclosure.

The Space Needle on the Daytona Beach Pier


The Space Needle on the Daytona Beach Pier has been dismantled and removed.  Rusted pieces falling were considered a danger.   The 176 foot tower has not been used since 2005.  The structure was built in 1969.

The Beach Café Food Truck is no longer at Tom Renick Park. Contract issues with the county have been cited as the reason for the business closing.

As of August 31, 2012 we have 44 Ormond By The Sea Florida condos for sale through the Daytona Beach Area Realtors® Multiple Listing Service (MLS).  There are 30 priced under $200,000 and 6 of those are under $100,000. Additionally, there are 16 condos under contract pending closing of which 9 involve the lender as a short sale or foreclosure.  There are 8 of the 44 condos for sale involving a lender , either short sales or foreclosures. 

The inventory has gone down a tick since last month when there were 48 condos for sale and the total is still well below what it was as there were 61 Ormond By The Sea Florida condos actively for sale at the end of November of last year and more than double that number in 2010.
