Through the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) there were 11 Ormond By The Sea, Florida homes sold in October, 2013.  Six (6) of the sales had lender involvement, either a short sale or foreclosure. Additionally, there are 21 homes under contract waiting closing and 6 of those have lender involvement. The highest priced home sold was a 2 bedroom 1 bath on Ocean Drive for $300,000 and the lowest priced was a 2 bedroom 1 bath on Margaret Rd. for $77,000.   This year was biggest sales year since 2005, showing the economy is making a comeback for this area.

Homes for sale in Ormond By The Sea Florida

There are 99 Homes for Sale in Ormond By The Sea, Florida through the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors®  Multiple Listing Service (MLS) as of October 31, 2013. An additional 34 homes are under contract awaiting closing.  As has been the case in recent months, lenders are pricing their properties more aggressively to get quicker sales.  Lenders are involved in 7 of the 91 homes for sale .  Asking prices for Ormond By The Sea homes currently for sale range from $99,000 to $1,290,000.

The inventory of Ormond By The Sea Florida homes for sale has stabilized and that is a good indicator that the market may be getting back to a being more balanced between buyers and sellers.  There are investors waiting for the lower priced homes to come available and if homes come on the market at a reasonable price they are being sold quickly.  

At the beginning of 2012 there were 25 Ormond By The Sea homes under contract and now there are 34, which is another good indicator for the health of the market.

At the beginning of this year there were 91 Ormond By The Sea Florida homes for sale so the inventory has been reduced which will help strengthen the market.

The inventory has increased slightly since last month when there were 51 condos for sale.  There were 53 Ormond By The Sea condos for sale at the beginning of 2012 and 57 at the beginning of 2013..
