Gourmet Kitchen Restaurant Closing in Ormond By The Sea, Florida

The Gourmet Kitchen Restaurant , a fixture at the Ormond Mall in Ormond By The Sea, Florida for over 20 years, is closing. Ormond mall Publix is expanding and will take the space the Gourmet Kitchen occupies. Gourmet Kitchen was notified in February that their lease would not be renewed. The restaurant is seeking a new location in Ormond By the Sea, Florida.

It has now moved to Tymber Creek and Granada - There is NOTHING "gourmet" about this place. The burgers are frozen, and EVERYTHING is underseasoned. When asked why their burger was called a "gourmet cheeseburger," the waitress said, "If it we were at Denny's, it would be called a Denny's burger." After biting into our generic burger, we confirmed that there was nothing, AT ALL, special, fancy, gourmet, about the burger - in fact, burgers at theme parks have more flavor. Don't waste your money or time.
