Through the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) there were 16 Ormond By The Sea, Florida homes sold in November, 2013.  Eight (8) of the sales had lender involvement, either a short sale or foreclosure. Additionally, there are 32 homes under contract waiting closing and 13 of those have lender involvement. The highest priced home sold was a 3 bedroom 2 bath on John Anderson Dr for $649,000 and the lowest priced was a 2 bedroom 2 bath on Palmetto Dr. for $58,900.

Additionally, there are 10 condos under contract pending closing of which 2 involve a lender as a short sale or foreclosure.  There are 8 of the 48 condos for sale involving a lender, either as a short sale or foreclosure.

We began this year with 57 Ormond By The Sea condos for sale so the inventory has stayed relatively low.  There were 95 for sale at the beginning of 2011 so the inventory has been reduced dramatically making for a more balanced market.
