A recent survey by the Harvard University Joint Center for Housing Studies indicates unmarried females ar the fastest growing segment of the housing market. Compare that to 2005 when there were 10 sales and one was under $225,000. The highrea sale price was $335,000 with 5 of the condo units selling for over $300,000. The 2005 average slaes price was $291,350.00 and the average 2006 sale price is $210,333.33. Condo sales have been slow and the small number of sales may make for strange statistics but the actual numbers of sales and the values are certainly much lower than condo sales figures from a year earlier. One example is Seabridge Condo unit #107 sold in August,2006 for $215,000. A Corinthian Villa first floor condo unit sold in August 2005 for $262,500.
