Festa Italiana!  2013 in Daytona Beach Florida is a 16 year old annual 4 day event featuring authentic Italian food, drinks and desserts and lots of activities for the young and old.

Festa Italiana! is put on by Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Daytona Beach Florida and benefits their school.  This is the largest fundraiser for the parish school.

The 2013 schedule for Festa Italiana! is Thursday, April 11 through Sunday, April 14, 2013.  Event times are 5  to 10 PM Thursday and Friday, noon to 10 PM Saturday and 11 AM to 5 PM Sunday.  

The Festival is kicked off at 1 PM with a procession to the beach followed by Mass.

Festa Italiana! 2013 will feature lots of rides including a merry-go-round and swings.  There will be lots of Italian food, entertainment and activities such as a karaoke contest, games and prizes.  Join the fun with carnival rides and music and fabulous eats.  New this year will be a meatball cook off with judging by local residents.  The meatball cook off will be Thursday at 6 PM.

Additionally, there are 34 homes under contract waiting closing and 12 of those have lender involvement. The highest priced home sold was a 3 bedroom on Sea Gull Dr.  for $282,000 and the lowest priced was a 2-bedroom 1 bath on Laurie Dr. for $59,000.

Things to do at Frank's place include pool, darts and gaming machines.  The Jukebox is also available when there is no live entertainment.  Also available are a cigarette, snack and ATM machines.  Smoking is allowed and there is bar and cocktail seating available.

Frank's place is located at 1544 Ocean Shore Blvd, Ormond beach Florida 32176, same building as the Dollar General store.  That is the former location of Jordan Hardware for those of you that were around town back then.  They are open daily 10 AM to 2 AM.  Happy hour is 4 to 7 and other drink specials and events are always being planned.
