This is a real positive report even though the sales volume is reduced probably due in part to the lower inventory.  Sales prices are up a little and the price per square foot is also up.  Average days on the market seems relatively stable.

Through the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) there were 14 Plantation Bay Golf and Country Club home sold in June, 2012.  One of the sales had lender involvement as either a short sale or foreclosure.  All of the sales were in the price ranges, between $233,730 and $500,000.  An additional 6 Plantation Bay homes are under contract awaiting closing and 5 of those involve a lender either a short sale or foreclosure.

The average days on the market so far this year is lower than any year since 2008 and the average sales price is up. Both of those are good indicators for the market.The average price per square foot is stable is the highest since 2008 and the average sold home size has decreased.

Additionally, there are 41 homes under contract waiting closing and 16 of those have lender involvement. The highest priced home sold was a 3 bedroom on Ocean Shore Blvd for $500,000 and the lowest priced was a 3-bedroom 2 bath on River Shore Rd for $88,100.
