Home for the holidays parade in Ormond Beach Florida

The City of Ormond Beach Department of Leisure Services proudly presents the 20th Annual Home for the Holidays Parade Saturday, December 11th, 2010 at 6:30PM.   The parade route runs along Granada Blvd east to City Hall.


The city of Ormond Beach will hold its 20th annual Christmas parade at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11. The theme of the 2010 edition of the parade is "20 years of Holiday Magic".  Thousands of spectators are expected to line the approximately 1.5 mile parade route that begins at Yonge Street and Division Avenue.  The Home for the Holidays Parade then turns north to Granada Boulevard and then turns east to South Beach Street and passes City Hall and the Review stand.

The reviewing stand will be located in front of Ormond Beach City Hall, 22 South Beach Street, Ormond Beach Florida.  Many prizes will be awarded.   For more information about the Home for the holidays parade categories and prizes view the flyer at
http://ormondbeach.org/DocumentView.aspx?DID=1929 The deadline for submitting your entry for participation is November 30, 2010.  Over a thousand participants are expected and there will be around 100 parade entries including Colorful floats, Santa Claus, marching bands, decorated vehicles and walkers will begin the 1.5-mile route

Al Raymondi, Broker and owner of Ocean View Realty Group was born in Quincy, MA and graduated from Quincy High School in 1963. He served the the U.S. Air Force including January to December 1966 at the 6924 Security Squadron in Danang Vietnam. Al worked for over 20 years at Blue Cross & BLue Shield of Mass. in Boston on the Medicare program for MA, ME, NH, and VT. He is married to Diane (McQuiggan, of Jamaica Plain, MA.) and lived in Quincy, Carver, and Brockton MA prior to relocating to Ormond Beach, FL in 1989. Al and Diane are the proud parents of Scott & Susan, both graduates of Brockton High School, Brockton, MA. Scott served the the Air Force for 4 years as a Jet Engine Mechanic at Langley AFB. He now resides in Palm Coast,FL and has 2 children, Scott Jr. & Samantha. Susan graduated Bridgewater State College, earned her CPA, and is currently residing in Huntington Beach Ca. with her husband Chris Haberl and their two sons, Max and Jake.  Scott Jr is in the US Navy and currently resides in Virginia with his wife Stephanie and their son Scott III.  Al is the Broker for Ocean View Realty Group in Ormond By The Sea Florida. Al's brother Dan and sister Grace still reside in Quincy, Mass.
