Halifax Art Festival 2010 in Daytona Beach Florida

48th annual Halifax Art Festival 2010   

The 48th annual Halifax Art Festival is is a premier annual event in Central Florida.  Scheduled for Historic Downtown Riverfront Park on Beach Street in Daytona Beach Florida, between Bay Street and Orange Avenue November 6 and 7, 2010.  The Halifax Art Festival is one of the of the oldest continuous running art festivals in the state of Florida.  There is no admission.

French Market comes to Daytona Beach, Florida

Beginning Saturday, September 18, 2010 downtown Daytona Beach merchants will present a French Market; the event is expected to offer food, arts, entertainment and much more. Outside vendors will come in to provide a variety of offerings. It is expected to be a multi cultural event.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has announced the return of it's spectacular Wings and Waves Air Show over the Atlantic Ocean in beautiful Daytona Beach, Florida.

Wings and Waves Air Show October 9 and 10, 2010 in Daytona Beach Florida features The Snowbirds Demonstration Team,  431 Squadron, a Canadian icon comprised of serving members of the Canadian Forces. Their pilots and technicians work as a team to bring thrilling performances to the North American public.

Fourth of July Independence Day Celebration

Celebrate the 4th on the banks of the Halifax River.

The free Independence Day Celebration in Ormond Beach Florida will feature Food, music, games and fireworks July 4, 2010 6PM to 10PM. Fireworks start at 9:30 PM.

The event takes place at 3 corners of the Granada Bridge: Rockefeller Gardens, Fortunato Park, and City Hall Plaza. There will be food and music on each corner. In the patriotic Kids' Corner at Fortunato Park there will be juggling, a magic show, strolling performers, arts and crafts, games, and inflatables. Uncle Sam, Ben Franklin and Abe Lincoln are expected to attend to talk with the kids.

There is a paved walkway under the east side of the Granada Bridge to allow walking from Fortunato Park to Rockefeller Gardens.
